It’s a Beautiful Day in St. Kitts

By admin in St. Kitts

What’s the weather like where you live on this January day?

In London, it’s 55°F and rainy. In New York City, it’s 46°F. In Paris, it’s 54°F. In Naples, it’s 52°F, and in Moscow, it’s 21°F and snowing.

Here at Christophe Harbour on St. Kitts, it’s 84°F and sunny with low humidity. In fact, it’s about like this every single day of the year. And even though we are in the tropics, it never gets too hot, thanks to the constant ocean breezes and the northeast trade winds. Winter days average around 81°F and an average summer...

As demonstrated over the recent Christmas and New Year’s period, corporate jet arrivals to St. Kitts have also been on the rise to an average...

Christophe Harbour Supports Public Safety Initiative

By admin in Christophe Harbour Foundation

Crime Stoppers, a community based public safety initiative, launched in St. Kitts on December 14th. Though St. Kitts and Nevis are far removed from the more volatile regions of the world and have a low crime rate, Assistant Commissioner of Police Robert Liburd recommended the initiative as a way of preventing crimes, building stronger communities, and allowing citizens a more active role in public safety.  Crime Stoppers is a respected 32-year-old organization that began in New Mexico in July 1975 and has since grown into a global organization with 1200 programs in 26 countries. The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis is now the 27th country. The Christophe Harbour Foundation donated $19,244 EC to the initiative, acknowledging all that it means to keeping the citizens of and...
